The Strong Room Restaurant + Bar + Function Centre
Having developed the land now occupied by South Street West motel, it was evident there was a need for additional hospitality in the township of Feilding to service guests and the wider community. A truly magnificent transformation of a site steeped in history.

Issues presented themselves when repurposing this 1965 ex-BNZ bank building into a 3-storey Restaurant + Bar + Function Centre. Through close collaboration we resolved such matters as accessibility, fire safety, extensive earthquake strengthening, health and food hygiene, as well as the removal of a 4000 litre diesel storage tank found on site.
